With the cold weather NNF has been quiet, but that is okay. I have been able to make myself a sweatsuit. I used our new 100% cotton sweatshirt fleece. I did not want a plain sweatshirt so I chose to customize Burda pattern 7598 from a dress to my own sweatshirt! I use my TNT(tried & true) elastic waist slacks pattern.

I know it is a bit early to be thinking about spring, but I had the chance to get some really nice spring/summer stripes. They are 58"-60" wide. The first picture is 100% cotton jersey knits @ $4.50yd and the second picture is 88%Poly/12%Lycra ITY jersey knits@ $5.00yd. I am looking forward to making some new tops turning the stripes in different directions, i.e. diagonal or chevron.

Nice top, Anne, I like the neckline and closure.

Thanks Lori: The top is actually a pullover. I just added folded over foldover elastic over the princess seam to match up with the foldover elastic that finishes the edges of the collar.
